Terms of Service

Who can sign up

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms for you.

What you get

  • A Minecraft server with the memory, storage and backups listed for your plan.
  • A control panel at panel.bardsen.gg to run it.
  • It runs on our own server in Norway. We work hard to keep it online, but can't promise 100% uptime.

Free, by invite

  • Servers are free for now. You need an invite code, and we take no payments.
  • We can end the free offer, but we'll email you at least 14 days before, so you can download your world.
  • If we start charging later, nothing changes for you unless you choose to pay.

Cancelling

  • Cancel anytime from Services in your account. To delete your whole account, email us.
  • When a server ends, it's deleted with its backups. Download your world first.

Fair use

Don't use your server to:

  • break the law, or host or share illegal content;
  • attack, scan or flood other computers (DDoS, port scans, spam);
  • mine crypto or run anything that isn't your game server;
  • harass, threaten or exploit people;
  • break the Minecraft EULA, which you accept when you order.

If you do, we may suspend or delete your server. Where it's fair, we'll warn you first.

Your files

  • Your worlds, mods and files are yours. We only look at them to run, fix or back up your server, or when the law makes us.
  • Backups help, but can fail. Keep your own copy of anything you can't lose.
  • You're responsible for the people you give access to, and the mods and plugins you install.

If something goes wrong

We're a one-person host and we do our best, but things can break. We don't pay for knock-on losses, like lost income. If something goes wrong on our side, you keep all your rights under consumer law.

Changes

If a change affects you, we'll email you at least 14 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

Law and complaints

Norwegian law applies. If something's wrong, email us first and we'll try to sort it out. If we can't, you can contact Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council). If you live in another country, you keep the consumer rights it gives you.
